My Story

JuJu’s Story – The Heart Behind the Mission

Jawuan “JuJu” Booker was more than special; he was a light in every room, a deep thinker with a gentle spirit, and a heart that always looked out for others.

Born on August 22, 2006, JuJu was curious from the start. He loved computers, technology, and figuring out how things worked especially when he could use that knowledge to help someone else. He had a gift for making others feel safe and understood, even when he didn’t always feel that way himself.

JuJu lived with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. He faced each day with strength and kindness, even when the world felt overwhelming. While he often kept his struggles quiet, he was always quick to help someone else carry theirs. That’s just who he was UNSELFISH,caring, thoughtful, and wise beyond his years.

He made people laugh, asked deep questions, gave the best hugs, and showed up when it mattered most. He was proud of who he was becoming, and we were proud of him.

On April 13, 2025, JuJu’s pain became too much his life was shortened by suicide. But his story doesn’t end there.

The Forsythe Foundation Reboot with JuJu was created to carry forward his light, his love, and his mission. We are here to support those who feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed. We’re here to open doors, offer hope, and speak out loud about the things too often kept silent.

JuJu’s life reminds us to lead with compassion, listen with intention, and never give up on one another.

He mattered. He still matters.

And through this foundation he lives on.

We Love And Miss You JuJu
